This small green pepper are from Southern Italian region. They are version of the Padron pepper. Despite appearances, this peppers are not spicy, but full of flavour with a touch of sweetness. "Friggitelli" means "for frying" and they are particularly delicious fried until soft and then sprinkled with sea salt.
