PECORINO MARZOLINO PINZANI 400g
A soft cheese made from sheep milk from the Sienese Crete, it owes its name to the month during which it was originally produced. Fairly common in Florence and through the Siena region since the Renaissance, it was considered the best cheese on the peninsula together with Parmesan.
It offers a delicate paste, perfumed and with a snow-white colour. Its unmistakable bread loaf shape is given manually.
Marzolino, Marzolino, young sheep cheese originally came the milk for this Tuscan specialty of the sheep that grazed on the Crete Senese. The cheese in the form of a small bread is rubbed with tomato paste. The dough is soft and elastic, the taste wonderfully milky. During the Renaissance it was next to the Parmesan cheese as the most popular of the Italians. His slightly herbaceous fragrance and sweetness demand as strawberries and apricots by gentle companions such as vegetables and salads or fruit. Serve with a fruity white wine. 53% i. Tr. Ca. 400 g piece.
It is excellent by itself, to catch the flavour of the aromatic herbs; it is better appreciated with salads, raw vegetables, or delicate vegetable creams.
